What's Glutathione？

Glutathione is a tripeptide compound formed by the condensation of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine through peptide bonds, and it is the most important low molecular mercaptan in mammalian cells to resist oxidative stress. It was discovered in 1921, and its chemical structure was confirmed in 1930. Dr. Al Mindel, a well-known health expert of American nutrition protection Chemicalbook, called glutathione as an anti-aging amino acid with three times efficacy, also known as the antioxidant master of nature. Its appearance is colorless, transparent, slender and granular crystals, which are soluble in water, dilute alcohol, liquid ammonia and dimethylformamide, but insoluble in ethanol, ether and acetone.
